In the XIX century many artists began to design their works, for a communication which was looking for a social change, trying to fix or to appeal, by a critical and active mood, facing social injuries.
The aim of this work was to compile some examples of social posters from the XX century, up to the present, making a collection of the typefaces used, presenting technical information about each typeface and poster.
